This reservoir, also known as Lake Brockman, stores water for irrigation purposes and is open to water sports. It’s uses include water skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing as well as camping, bushwalking and mountain biking. This plan addresses the significant increase in recreational use and outlines effective management to ensure the water quality does not deteriorate and the overall aesthetics of the area are not spoiled.

The Gnaala Karla Booja Noongar people are acknowledged as the traditional owners of the area.
