The Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park (the marine park) was gazetted on 8 May 2009 as a Class A reserve. The Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park Management Plan 2009–2019 (the management plan) was formally approved by the Minister for Environment on 10 June 2009. It was prepared on behalf of the Marine Parks and Reserves Authority by the Department of Environment and Conservation1 and was developed in consultation with the community. The management plan provides the management arrangements for a ten year period.
