The Western Australian Oiled Wildlife Response Plan (WAOWRP) and the Western Australian Oiled Wildlife Response Manual have been prepared in collaboration with the Department of Transport and the Australian Marine Oil Spill Centre (AMOSC) on behalf of the petroleum industry.
The Plan establishes the framework for responding to potential or actual oiled wildlife impacts in WA waters, within the framework of an overall maritime environmental emergency. The Manual aims to standardise operating procedures, protocols and processes for oiled wildlife response.
