Conservation and Land Management Act 1984
Section 9

In accordance with section 9(4) of the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 (CALM Act) the Minister advises of his intention to act under section 9(3)(c) of the CALM Act.

The Minister for Environment proposes to redescribe a portion of State Forest No. 21, located 2km west of Kirup. The redescription is associated with an excision of 0.8383 hectares from State Forest No. 21 which occurred in 2017. The excision was to facilitate upgrades Upper Capel Road requested by the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup.

As part of the excision the Deposited Plan 409116 was prepared showing the 0.8383 hectares to be excised. Deposited Plan 409116 also redescribed a portion of State Forest No. 21.

The redescription is an administrative process and will not change the tenure of the State forest or involve any vegetation clearing.
