DBCA's Biodiversity and Conservation Science division works with other organisations to tackle the key waterway health issues facing the Swan Canning Riverpark. We work to protect and enhance its ecological and community benefits so it can be enjoyed by the community now and into the future.

Sound information is crucial to support and inform management. We undertake regular waterway and catchment monitoring to evaluate our adaptive management approach. We also engage in tailored research to complement and inform management in the Riverpark and the broader catchment.
