BETA is the third stage of testing our new website, so you may encounter a few bugs or issues.

To help improve your experience, we've simplified:

  • How we categorize and display information
We've simplified the way we group and publish content. When you navigate the site, all content will have a familiar look and feel. Information has been grouped together logically, and managed by agency or topic.

  • How you search
We've improved the way you search for information with a more robust search engine and introduced "facets" which allow for filtering content by agency or category. Currently we only display results from this website, however, in the future we aim to allow for cross-website (federated) search. In the meantime, you can use the Custom Google Search engine to search across DBCA managed websites.

  • Our approach to digital publishing
We're following the Western Australian Digital Services Policy Framework to ensure our website and the information published on it meet the government standards. By adhering to these standards, we're aligning with the whole-of-government citizen-centric approach to publishing.
