DBCA received an application from the Vice President of the Swan Canoe Club for the extension of storage facilities at the Swan Canoe Club. The proposal includes construction of a new storage facility to the north of the existing facility and the installation of an access platform on the southern end of the existing facility, to provide safter access to the existing launching platform. 

The draft report for this proposal was open to the public for comment from 25 March to 13 April 2026.

Next steps:

 • All submissions will be considered by the Director General in the preparation and endorsement of the final report.

 • The endorsed final report and recommendation, and all submissions received, will be sent to the Minister for the              Environment for determination.

 • The Minister’s determination will be uploaded to this page and the Development Application process is complete. The applicant will be responsible for meeting the requirements of the conditions of approval.
