All operators with a commercial operations licence are issued with a Commercial Operator Handbook. This is a legal and informative document that must always remain in the operator’s vehicle together with a copy of the licence when in lands and waters managed by DBCA.

The handbook serves a number of purposes:

  • educate and inform operators as to how they can help maintain and protect WA's natural environment for the long-term benefit of the State's tourism industry
  • minimise risks to park visitors
  • outline opportunities available to operators who are already conducting, or wish to conduct, operations on land managed by DBCA
  • clearly identify the licence conditions which apply to specific operations and areas by which operators must abide.

The Commercial Operator Handbook can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
