The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) invites organisations and stakeholders to share their insights on how climate change is affecting Western Australia’s natural environment sector.

Your input will help shape the Natural Environment Sector Adaptation Plan, part of the WA Climate Adaptation Strategy, which aims to identify key climate risks and guide practical actions to strengthen resilience across the sector. 

The natural environment sector includes organisations that manage, conserve, restore, or work closely with WA’s ecosystems. If your work is connected to the natural environment, your experience and knowledge are critical to this process.

Why your input matters 

This survey will help DBCA to: 

  • identify key climate hazards affecting the sector
  • better understand impacts and risks to natural ecosystems
  • prioritise adaptation actions
  • inform evidence-based decision-making across government and industry DBCA is consulting with a range of organisations across the natural environment sector to develop the plan.
