Application details
DBCA received an application from the City of Nedlands for a material change of use at the Charles Court Reserve playing fields to increase lighting levels to support night time sporting use. The proposal includes replacing the existing lighting towers with eight new lighting towers and LED luminaires.
The draft report for this proposal has been prepared and is available for download below. Members of the public are invited to comment on the proposal and the draft report. The comment period will close on 13 March 2026.
DBCA’s Director General will consider all submissions made before the report is finalised and a recommendation made to the Minister for the Environment.
