• Up to $850,000 in funding available for foreshore restoration and protection projects

The program, introduced by the Gallop Government in 2002, has contributed almost $30 million to nearly 350 projects that have improved the health and amenity of the Swan Canning Riverpark.

Projects eligible for funding include revegetation, planting, weed control, and infrastructure that protects Swan Canning Riverpark's environmental, recreational, and cultural values.

As part of the agreement, successful grant recipients must match State Government contributions, which has meant more than $60 million has been invested in foreshore restoration projects since the program was launched more than two decades ago.
