The Valley of the Giants is home to ancient tingle trees found nowhere else in the world.
A new trail network is being constructed between the Valley of the Giants and the Walpole townsite, incorporating Nornalup and local attractions including the Giant Tingle Tree, Hilltop Lookout and the world-famous Tree Top Walk.
The trail network stretches more than 50km and consists of new shared use walk and cycle trails, new green cross country mountain bike trails suitable for the whole family to enjoy, and a new walking only loop trail.
The Giants Trails form part of the broader Great Southern Regional Trails Master Plan and are positioned to be a regionally significant trail network.
Trail corridors have been carefully selected to minimise impacts on environmental and cultural values.
